About Elle G. Lawrence
Hello, I'm Elle — the creator of Fae Club Events, High Fae Retreats, and now the writer and artist behind Zodiac snail Mail. My love of reading, writing, and creating has always been at the heart of who I am. What began as hobbies and my favourite lessons growing up, completely took over my life, and have now become my everyday work.
For years, I searched for the perfect title, the type you see next to somebody’s name that seems to capture their work or essence so perfectly. It's funny really, because I've never believed people can or should fit neatly into boxes, yet I desperately wanted a single word, or box, that could explain what I do, more for myself than anybody else, but I’ve always had too many seemingly different passions to choose just one.
Art and writing have been my constants, but along the way I kept discovering more things that captured my interest. More than anything, I love creating moments of wonder. Not through endless travel or chasing the next big adventure, but by finding magic in everyday life. I love slowing down enough to hand embroider a piece that takes months to finish, staying awake into the early hours to finish writing a chapter, or adding the final touches to an illustration until it feels just right.
In 2022, I became a mother, and from there my life grew in ways I never expected. I founded a fantasy events company, created immersive wellness retreats, and discovered even more ways to tell stories. Instead of narrowing my path, every new chapter expanded it.
And so finally, I found the ‘title’ I’d been searching for all along. The word I had been looking for was Storyteller.
Because it doesn’t matter if I’m planning an event, up late drawing, waking up during the night jotting down ideas for my books, or out on a forest adventure with my little one - everything I do is a form of storytelling.
Zodiac Mail was created from this love of creating, my journey into the divine, and was sparked by one of my long-term writing projects that will hopefully be released to the world when the time is right.
I wish my about me section could be simpler, but as I’m slowly learning, not a single thing in this Universe is simple.
All this to say, Hi, I’m Elle, a Storyteller, and welcome to my little corner of dreams.
